Brand systems to distinguish each of our products have evolved over the years. Established design systems help other teams collaborate better.

Annual Report and Print Stationary

The Texas Tribune has always been a small but nimble team. Early on, we focused on projects that allowed us to experiment with new ways to tell visually compelling stories. I led several award-winning projects that we created in-house, which helped us expand our thinking about engaging our digital audience across platforms.

Elections Branding System

Elections are a recurring event, so we will certainly need brand elements. Templates and guides are created for various teams instead of bespoke solutions. This allows for a base of layouts across platforms that can be built on as needed.

Membership

We wanted to make sure our audiences non-members and members alike, could identify when our communications are specific to reaching campaign membership goals. A unique brand was created and meant to make sure members felt that they were getting something special.
